Auburn Riverside Tradition
The first Raven baseball players created a positive culture for all future players!
Auburn Riverside High School opened in 1995-96 with grades 9-11. Unfortunately, the school facilities at that time were still under construction and the baseball field was not completed. The first Raven baseball players had to have every practice and home game at Mt. Baker Middle School for two years. Did they complain? No! If they were playing the game with the teammates who supported each other, they would show up and play! These players never played a game on the Riverside campus. They were true sandlot players. “Johnny Baseball”. Since then, Riverside Baseball has had a culture of being dirtbag players- willing to play anytime, anywhere, against anyone!
