BRAD COMSTOCK: BOYS VARSITY HEAD COACH
Coach Comstock is now in his 2nd year as the Head Baseball Coach at Riverside. Comstock returned home to his Alma Mater Auburn Riverside 5 years ago in 2018 as an assistant coach to Hall of Famer Tim Kuykendall. He returned to Riverside after spending the previous 8 years teaching and coaching at Auburn Mountainview under another Hall of Famer, Head Coach Glen Walker.
Comstock grew up and has spent most of his life in the Auburn area. He attended Auburn Riverside graduating in 2006. While attending ARHS he was a dual sport athlete participating in wrestling and baseball at an extremely high level earning League and State honors along the way. After graduating from ARHS Coach Comstock attended Central Washington University where he was a “Prefered Walk On” baseball player. Coach Comstock graduated from Central Washington University Magna Cum Laude in 2011.
After returning from college Coach Comstock began his coaching career as an assistant to the AMHS wrestling program under Coach Adam France. During his time as a wrestling coach at AMHS he coached 24 state participants, 16 state placers, and 3 state finalists. In 2014 and 2015 he was named WIAA assistant coach of the year as well as an assistant on the Washington State National Team.
Coach Comstock joined the baseball coaching staff at AMHS as the head C team coach where he spent 2 years before taking over the JV program. During his many years as the head JV coach at AMHS Coach Comstock was also an assistant to the varsity program focusing on infield and defense instruction alongside Coach Glen Walker. Coach Comstock also focused on advanced scouting and game planning for Coach Walker at AMHS. While at AMHS Coach Comstock was presented with many great coaching opportunities such as helping coach 3 SPSL/NPSL league All-Star games and 1 Washington State Senior All-Star game.
In 2021 the Raven’s baseball team won the League Championship for only the second time in school history and were one game away from competing in the state tournament. In 2023 Coach Comstock led the Ravens to their first State Tournament appearance in 10 seasons.
Coach Comstock has been married to his wonderful wife Michelle, who is also a teacher and coach in the Auburn School District, for the last 8 years.
CHRIS GARRISON: BOYS VARSITY ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Garrison has been a teacher and coach in the Auburn School District for over 30 years. Opened the school as the first Raven baseball coach in 1995 and left in 2013 to teach and coach baseball overseas in Doha, Qatar. Coached many players who have gone on to play college baseball. Coach Garrison was at the helm of Auburn Riverside’s first ever league championship in 1998 and was an assistant coach on the 2021 league championship team, Making coach Garrison a part of the only two league championships in program history.
SAM SPICIATTI: BOYS VARSITY ASSISTANT COACH
Coach Spiccati is now in his second year of coaching baseball at ARHS. Coach Spiccati primarily focuses on the pitching staff. He played at Riverside from 2018-2021. He was an all league player in 2021 as a DH. Sam will be working with the Raven pitchers this year as he brings a wealth of knowledge in the area of pitching. Sam will be a great asset to the coaching staff this year.
MARK BOWMAN-VARSITY ASSISTANT
Coach Bowman begins his first season on the ARHS coaching staff. He has nearly 20 years of experience coaching baseball at the high school and college levels, which include private instruction and camps. Bowman’s coaching career includes JV coaching positions at Puyallup HS, Auburn HS, and Bethel HS. He held Head Coaching positions at Clover Park HS and Wilson (now Silas) HS. Bowman spent one season as the Head Assistant Coach at Green River Community College. His most recent coaching position was for one season as a volunteer coach at Auburn Mountainview HS along with Coach Comstock. As a player, Bowman graduated from Wilson HS where he was a two-sport letterman in football and baseball and is a member of the schools Hall of Fame. Receiving All-league honors in football, coach Bowman was recruited by Oregon and Oregon State University’s football programs but decided to play baseball in college instead. In baseball, Bowman played Shortstop, Pitcher, and Catcher. Ultimately, choosing Catching as his main position and earning the honor of being selected as the Narrows League 1st Team All[1]League Catcher. Bowman’s college career began at Yakima Valley Community College where he earned NWAACC 1st Team All-League Eastern Region honors as a catcher. Following his time at Yakima Valley, he transferred to Albertson’s College of Idaho where he was the NAIA Cascade Collegiate Conference Co-Player of the Year and 1st Team All-League 1 st Baseman before transferring again to Washington State University where he would play his final season of eligibility for the Cougars. Following his time at WSU, Bowman signed a free agent contract with the Clarksville Coyotes Professional Baseball Club (Clarksville, TN) of the Professional Independent League as a 1st Baseman. Midway through his rookie season, he suffered a career ending shoulder injury. Coach Bowman graduated from WSU with a degree in Business Administration and began teaching in 2005 where he is currently a teacher at West Auburn HS teaching CTE courses

PATRICK McKEEHAN: BOYS JUNIOR VARSITY HEAD COACH
Coach McKeehan is entering his 22nd year as an assistant baseball coach. He has coached at Cheney High School and Auburn Riverside High School. Coach McKeehan has also coached swim and dive at Auburn Riverside. He coached the boys team from 2008-2014 and is still currently coaching the girls team, he has been doing that since 2012. The girls team coached by Coach McKeehan has been NPSL league champions for 6 consecutive seasons. Coach McKeehan is from Cheney, in Eastern Washington, where he competed in Cross Country, Swimming, and Baseball at Cheney High School. McKeehan placed 7th in districts in the 200 individual Medley in 1996. He is a Social Studies teacher at Auburn Riverside. He graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Political Communications Endorsement. McKeehan also holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Eastern Washington University. Patrick was raised in Eastern Washington and moved to the Auburn area after completing his Master’s program. He has been teaching at Auburn Riverside for 16 years. He is married with 4 children.
AUSTIN EIBEL- JV ASSISTANT
Coach Eibel is entering his first year as an assistant baseball coach at ARHS. He formerly coached at Emerald Ridge High School and spent five years coaching with Prospect United. Coach Eibel is from Gig Harbor, WA where he competed in baseball for Gig Harbor High School. Austin played one year of baseball at Oberlin College, before graduating from Southern Methodist University with a bachelor's degree in finance. Eibel also holds a Master in Teaching (MIT) degree from Seattle Pacific University. Coach Eibel is in his fourth year as a Language Arts teacher at Auburn Riverside.
JARETT BISHOP: BOYS C-TEAM HEAD COACH
Coach Bishop is entering his first year as an assistant baseball coach at ARHS. He has coached baseball and wrestling at Olympic Middle School in previous years. Coach Bishop is also an assistant football coach and the head girls wrestling coach at Auburn Riverside. Jarett grew up in the city of Auburn and attended Auburn high school where he competed in football, wrestling, and baseball. Bishop graduated from Boise State University with a degree in special education K-12 in 2021 and is in his first year as a resource room teacher at ARHS.

COLIN MATTSON: BOYS C-TEAM ASSISTANT COACH
Colin Mattson graduated from Auburn Riverside High School. This is his 5th year coaching baseball and also been the assistant wrestling coach for 5 years here at ARHS. He is happy to be back coaching at his Alma Mater.
